Milwaukee Training

Notes from our training for you to remember:

1. Convert to Symbol = F8

2. Anything that is going to move independently needs to be on its OWN LAYER.

3. To animate an object (make sure its on its own layer first), then click on it and to insert --> timeline --> create motion tween . (this is for Flash version 8).

4. Keyframes are very important. A keyframe is a frame the defines animation from it's own point forward to the next key frame.

5. To remove a keyframe, right click on it.

6. To create a new keyframe somewhere, click on that area of the timeline and hit F6 to create a new keyframe.

7. To break an object apart, hit control b. (breaking an object apart sometime is necessary if you want to do a shape tween between two similar shapes).

8. Why would you want to do a shape tween? Remember that we used a shape tween to tween between the different shapes in the mouth.

9. When clicking on a KEYFRAME in the timeline, remember to look down in the "properties" panel. In fact, remember that the "properties" panel has all the most important stuff in it as it relates to anything you click on. But yes, When clicking on a KEYFRAME in the timeline, in properties, it will reveal what kind of tween that keyframe is starting: MOTION, SHAPE, or NONE.
